Dalaman Guide

Dalaman is an area of natural beauty. It is located between the sea and mountains and benefits from its proximity to many areas of interest, both historical and geographical interest (eg Dalyan mud baths, ancient tombs, etc). Rapidy Dalaman is always an area of target and not just a stopover on his way to another place in the city. The recent investments to the airport, roads and through the continuous development of the area makes it easier to understand. Over - development and use of the area will be stopped by the protection of the rare loggerhead turtles that frequent the river and beach. This is to ensure that Dalaman continue to develop in harmony with its surroundings and maintain their natural beauty

Dalaman is now rapidly an investment for many Europeans buying property for investment in Turkey. This seems due to many factors, including the city be designated a main tourist area from now on: plans for new marinas and golf course are underway.

Dalaman city itself has many shops, restaurants, bars and tea gardens and is growing rapidly due to the investment in this area. Dalaman has its own huge natural beach, although not overly commercial 'or' it is still pleasant and houses many wild animals.

The town is ideally located for many areas but Resort perfect, if you prefer a quiet place itself. There is also a tunnel under way to connect the city Dalaman and Gocek, reducing the trip to only 5 or 10 minutes by car.

If you are in the field, make sure you visit the Dalyan (Köycegiz). They enjoy the Kaunos acheologist page and look at the tombs carved into the limestone mountain while crusing along the river Dalyan when you reach the shore, on foot Iztuzu Beach. The area is the world's 6th most famous beach, it is 6 km long and enjoy the sea turtles (Caretta-carrettas). The beach is a sactuary for marine turtles.
