Aphrodisias Turkey is one of the least visited archaeological sites. The main reason is that there is a little off track, about 100 km inland form most of the other sites. Although Afrodisias was already a importnat place in Neolithic times, most monuments date from the Roman era: a theatre, a double Agora, baths Hardian bishops of a palace, a staidum and an odeon.
The site is a small museum, which has some very beautiful sculptures. If you do not have your own means of transport of the way here on Nazili and then with a dolmus to Geyre, 600 metres from Aphrodisias in the main street.
