Ancient Hallicarnassus, the city of the great mausoleum, one of the seven wonders of the ancient, the famous Castel, amphtheatre and very unique Maritime Museum, is now modern Bodrum, a relaxing a party town with a beautiful surrounding mountains, which is full of great markets and home breathtaking sunsets. The sand is warm and the water, and this popular destination need to be seen as they believed. The best place for sports divers diveres, the place to Karaada, Acros rigth to Bodrum.Bodrum is located on a peninsula when a car (or rent one) and make a loop c'lock truck tour, starting with Gümbet, and Bites, Akyarlar, Turgutreis, Gümüşlük, Yalıkavak, Gündoğan, Türkbükü, Torba and back to Bodrum . The trip takes about 2-4 hours, depending on what you want to see and where you want to learn more time. Bodrum is the place where the famous blue journey begins and ends in Antalya. We call it "Mavi Yolculuk", which I had made in 1968.
The trip usually takes 15-20 days and you will see many historical sites / places like; Gökova Bay, Knidos, Datça, Marmaris, Dalyan (Chaunos), Fethiye (Ölü Deniz, Turkish Dead Sea), Kaş, Kalkan, Kekova, Demre (birthplace of Santa Clous), Finike, Olympus, Phaselis, Antalya and Kemer .. This is the best part of Turkey. In Bodrum, there are three large marinas and many hotels and an airport nearby.
