The number of foreign tourists arriving in the southern resort city of Antalya by airplanes since the beginning of 2009 reached nearly 7.5 million.

Between January 1 and September 27, a total of 7,331,245 tourists arrived in Antalya by airplanes, the tourism office said on Monday.

The number of foreign tourists arriving the city by airplanes between September 1 and 27 became 1,144,949.
