Ayasofya

Built initially in 325, the basilica was rebuilt during the reign of Emperor Justinian who wanted to be "the largest and most beautiful churches that is."

After conquering Ottomans, the church was converted into a mosque and then he added the minarets. In 1935, Ataturk decided to turn it into a cultural museum.
